After earning his B.A. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Timothy Ritchey enrolled in the Chicago-Kent College of Law. Part of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent is the second oldest law school in Illinois and the first law school in the country to mandate a three-year legal writing program. Chicago-Kent maintains high standards for its students, with the Fall 2008 class boasting a median LSAT score of 162, which is higher than 90 percent of all test takers’ scores.
Timothy Ritchey excelled after earning admission to law school, making the Dean’s list and receiving a merit scholarship. He obtained his Juris Doctor and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2005.
Timothy Ritchey then joined the staff at Peck Bloom, LLC, which was founded in 1998 after the merger of two established firms.
